I didn’t go, but I was trying to think of different activities they could have. Here’s my list so far:
DUNKING BOOTH: The people bring a small animal, which is placed in a large, slick tank about 10’ high. The animals are placed inside. The tank is filled halfway with water. The animal that survives the longest wins its master a prize.
BOBBING FOR APPLES: This is like the regular bobbing for apples, except that the apples have two bites out of them (for Adam & Eve’s downfall) and razor blades inside.
WATER BALLOON FIGHT: Have the water balloons filled with some sort of nerve agent.
Any other suggestions in keeping with the celebration theme of killing everybody (except for six people) with a watery death?
Well, it had to happen sooner or later. For a few months now, I have been working on what I named a meeting snake. It’s basically a couple of pieces of paper folded in on themselves to make a snake-like thing that I would do during meetings.
Yesterday afternoon (10/26/08), I was looking at a Reader’s Digest at the Tuscaloosa Public Library. In it, I found a little leaflet somebody left there. It was called “The Roots of Civilization.”
It is a racist piece of crap.
Let me give a couple of lines from it:
Blacks can be taught to read news scripts, to get to work on time (and sober), and to dress and talk like Whites. But the differences between Blacks and Whites remain far deeper than their skins, and those concerned with the survival of Western civilization need to understand the differences fully.
I took the thing, brought it to work, and dropped it in the recycle bin. Hey, bullshit (like other fertilizers) needs to be recycled to get some good out of it…
MySpace didn’t seem to get the last blog entry. Will they get this one? If so, then I can still use my Pidgin/AIM hybrid thing to post to my blogs. If not, I’ll have to go to ping.fm to do it.(Personally, I’d rather do it through AIM. Less chance of it being seen around here that way.)
Here is another blog test, this time using pingfm through AIM. If it works, then it means I will not need to limit my posts to 140 characters for my blogging things, as well as being able to post directly from my Pidgin/AIM thing.
